Meet The Maker

Why Kym loves this wine.
"Crushed into small open fermenting tanks then matured for 18 months in the finest French oak, this extremely limited wine will cellar exceptionally well and reward the patient and discerning collector."
About this wine
The wine has a deep red colour and intense aromas of violets, cassis, and aniseed. The palate is an intense expression of the aromas, enhanced with silky tannins and a deliciously long, persistent finish.
About the vineyard

Bird in Hand is renowned internationally as one of the top producers of wine from anywhere around the world. The Estate itself has sought to evolve far beyond what is usually expected of a winery and provides tantalising indulgences for all senses.
Reviews

"Ample tannin, substance and length but cohesion is not a strong point. Acidity dangles like a loose shirttail and tannin doesn't feel entirely at one with the fruit. Don't get the wrong impression; there's a lot to appreciate here. 93 points silver "

"The palate elegant and medium-weight, with fine but positive tannins. Fine and long palate. An elegant cabernet blend which is far from simplistic. 93/100 Drinking/cellaring time 2019 to 2034"
